Pokémon GO is the rage that is sweeping the world! NOW you can maximize your Pokémon GO FUN by playing at iPlay America. iPlay America has TWO Pokéstops inside the park! One located at the IPA Speedway and another located in the iPlay America Event Center. These are the perfect way to have big FUN while piling up the Pokémon Pokéstop Rewards!
Right now, there are several types of items that a Pokéstop can reward Pokémon GO players with each and every time they visit! Like a Pokéball — Given that this is by far the most common reward, Pokéstops are the most cost-effective way to ensure that you maintain a base level of Pokéballs that you can use to capture new monsters. Other great rewards include:
- Potion — Used to recover the HP of your Pokémon following a battle.
- Razz Berry — A consumable item that makes it easier to capture a particular Pokémon.
- Revive — If your Pokémon faints in a gym battle against a rival team, this will restore them to half their maximum health.
- Lucky Egg — A consumable item that doubles your experience gained for thirty minutes upon activation.
- Egg — A Pokémon that will only hatch after you walk 2KM, 5KM, or 10KM while it’s stored in an incubator.
There’s no limit to how many players can claim rewards from a Pokéstop over a particular time frame. Individuals will have to wait five minutes between swiping the symbol and retrieving a new set of rewards — the marker changes to purple when it’s recharging and will turn blue again once it’s ready. Only Pokéballs and Eggs are offered up until the player reaches level 5, at which point the rest of the list comes into play. But with two Pokéstops located on the premises, players at iPlay America double their ability to level up quickly!
Adding to the excitement is the fact that iPlay America is also home to a Pokégym in Game Time Bar & Grill! For players who have already made it to Level 5, this is a great place to battle and have huge FUN! Once you have achieved Level 5, you’ll be asked to join team Mystic, Valor or Instinct. This gives you access to Pokégyms, which is where you can fight other real-world players and that’s where the real fun begins. Simply hanging out wherever the Pokégym is will get you free Pokécoins. Not only that, leaving behind a levelled-up Pokémon will get you even more free Pokécoins. This is why it’s important to have a wide range of Pokémon.
iPlay America wants to be a part of the Pokémon GO excitement and is holding special events during the week to let you maximize your FUN!
Come in to Game Time Bar & Grill for $10 Tuesdays (5$ for kids 12 & under) and not only will you get UNLIMITED Pizza, Pasta, and Salad, but YOU can spend a great night battling friends in the Pokégym!

They key to success begins with catching Pokémon! The biggest draw of Pokémon GO is going out into the world and finding and capturing your very own Pokemon. Capturing Pokémon enables you to increase your trainer rank as well as raise your existing Pokémon’s Stardust, which is the equivalent of EXP for a Pokémon’s CP rank. While catching duplicates of Pokémon you’ve already found awards 100 EXP towards your trainer’s level, new Pokemon are superior. Finding a Pokémon that’s not already in your Pokédex will award you 500 EXP, but duplicates are useful too!
Now here is some useful information to make your Pokémon GO experience even better!
When trying to track Pokémon the footprints seen beneath the Pokémon is a signal as to how far away the Pokémon actually is, so, follow these tips to catch more Pokémon!
- Most people will understand that zero footprints mean you are practically on top of a wild Pokémon, and should actually be able to see it. One footprint is very close. Two is sort of close. Three is…well, this is the problem. There are various “ranges” of three footprints, but that’s not an exact science.
- When it comes to three footprints, you then have to switch to judging the order in which the Pokémon appear in the list. In the 3×3 grid, if a Pokémon is in the top left, it is the closest to you, even if everything has three footprints. If it is in the bottom right, it is the furthest, and may soon fall off the grid entirely if you keep walking away from it.
- So, what you do in order to find a specific Pokémon list is select them on the grid, which will circle them. But do NOT close the grid. There’s been a rumor that the grid will pulse when that Pokémon is near, but that’s wrong. It pulses when new Pokémon are added to the grid, and it does not have anything to do with distance.
- You do not want to close the grid and focus only on a single Pokémon, because you need to see its position within the grid in order to track it. You need to see it moving from between the #1 and #9 spots to gauge if you’re getting close or further away.
- So, go straight, in any direction, to start. If the Pokémon dips down one slot, it might just be something new being added to the grid, so give it a second. If it dips down two or three slots? You’re going the wrong way. Do a complete 180.
- Now, go straight that way. You should see it start to tick up. If it doesn’t get past the top three or four spots and starts to go down again if you keep walking, now that’s when you have to go left or right. Backtrack to where it was last highest on the list. Pick left or right. Go that way. If it starts dropping, you picked wrong. Do a complete 180 and go the other way.
- The trick is getting out of three footprint territory. Once you can finally track the Pokémon to no more than two footprints away, that means it is really close, and with just a tiny bit of trial and error searching using the above method, you should be on top of it soon enough.
- Once you find the Pokemon you’ve been tracking, make sure after all that effort you’ve loaded them up with berries and are throwing your best Pokéballs to ensure they don’t flee. They might anyway, but at least you did everything you could. If you catch them, enjoy, you just completed what is the probably most fun part of this game, a Pokémon treasure hunt.
Remember that turning off your Augmented Reality will make the Pokémon stationary and easier to catch! Sure, it’s awesome to see that Pikachu spawn on your coffee machine, but AR (augmented reality) can often make it more difficult to catch your creatures — and drains your battery, too. To keep your device steady and ready for anything, flip AR off — you can always turn it back on if you find a Pokémon in a particularly hilarious location.
Now, hatching your eggs is directly linked to movement, the more you move, the quicker your eggs hatch, so while you’re at iPlay America you can have fun playing and also increase your distance traveled while enjoying a ride on the Freedom Rider Spinning Coaster or while taking a few fantastic laps on the IPA Speedway by one of our TWO exciting Pokéstops!
Two Pokéstops and a Pokégym, make iPlay America the perfect place to play Pokémon GO rain or shine! Because no matter what the weather is like outside, it’s always perfect inside iPlay America’s nearly four fantastic acres of FUN! Get the MOST Out of Pokémon GO at iPlay America!
