April Spotlight: Aiden and Olivia Kirchner
For the month of April, iPlay America is shining a light on the kind actions of Aiden & Olivia Kirchner as a part of the iPlay America Kindness Movement!
Thank you to Kristen Kirchner for submitting their story!
I have 9 year old twins, Aiden and Olivia who can be the best of friends and the worst of friends. However, when they show their best side I have the most lovable, helpful and respectable two kids a mom could ask for. Although the times are currently tough and out of the ordinary being stuck at home does not mean you have to stop being kind to those you love.
I have always been told by all who come in the path of my twins that they are great kids who look out for others and will always do the right thing. For the past four weeks, my kids have continued to show this side at home. I am not saying that every minute, or hour or day is the best but when they show their sweet, lovable side, it comes out in full force.
My son, Aiden is there when the times start to get tough. “What do you need mom?” or “ Can I help?” or simply just a hug. My daughter, Olivia is a great helper with my two year old. She has taken on a role to help watch my toddler, plays with her and cares for her. Her love for her sister is undeniable. By always being a helping hand I can get things around the house done and maybe have just a minute for myself. Both of my kids are great kids and I cannot wait to watch them grow up to become the best they can be.
