Help those in need while enjoying a night of classic rock music right in the heart of Freehold. CentraState Healthcare Foundation has joined forces with iPlay America to present The B Street Band in a disaster relief concert. The concert, which will be held on Saturday, November 17 is a collaborative effort between CentraState and iPlay. According to Special Events Manager at CentraState Healthcare Foundation Jamie Weiskopf, the idea of the relief concert came only a week after Hurricane Sandy hit.
“My staff and I wanted to do something to help the victims of the storm,” explained Weiskopf. “I had contacted them [iPlay America] originally to see if we could have a concert there and they said they were having The B Street Band on Nov. 17 and asked if we would like to team up with them.”
Weiskopf further explained that Bob McDaid, owner of iPlay America and Encore Event Center has donated the band and venue. All ticket money will be donated to the United Way of Monmouth County to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy.
This is a one-time event. Anyone interested in enjoying an evening filled with good music while helping Hurricane Sandy victims can do so by purchasing tickets through www.ticketfly.com.
